Privacy Policy
Lumavid ("we", "us") is a personal self-improvement app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account and data at any time.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, first name, and a hashed password when you sign up. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google profile.
- Activity data you create in the app. Learning progress (flashcards, quizzes, daily topics), cognitive training results (mental math, study sessions), gym workouts, goals, schedules, and gamification data (XP, levels, streaks, missions, achievements).
- Subscription status. Whether your account has an active Pro subscription.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
How we use your information
- To provide the app's features — your data is what the app displays back to you.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To send transactional emails, such as email verification codes and password resets.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, on servers protected by industry-standard security measures. On your device, session tokens are encrypted at rest.
Third-party services
- Supabase — database, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
- Google Sign-In — optional authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store — handles all payments and subscriptions. We never see your payment details.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account from within the app, or by emailing us at the address below — this permanently removes your account and all associated activity data from our systems.
Children
Lumavid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
